Your mission

As an experienced AI/ML engineer, you belong to a unit within the technology department. The department works to provide the entire agency with the technology and systems needed for signal intelligence, cyber defense, and support functions.

In this role, you will work with your team to help FRA accelerate and develop its capabilities in AI/ML, primarily in the form of:

• Development, optimization, and management of the agency's AI-based solutions.
• Streamlining FRA's models and AI solutions. This requires you to enjoy working hands-on and getting things done.

In this role, you will have many points of contact, both within the agency and with external parties.

You can

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed master's degree in computer engineering or a related field, or equivalent education or work experience deemed comparable by the employer
• Several years of experience in programming in Python, C/C++, or similar
• Practical experience with container-based virtualization frameworks
• Experience and knowledge of orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux
• Experience in building DevOps and/or MLOps pipelines
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• GPU acceleration in container environments
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Container frameworks such as OpenShift or similar
• Experience programming in supercomputer environments
• Management, including version control of AI/ML models
• Implementation and development of CI/CD pipelines for AI models
• Configuration and optimization of machine learning systems in production
• Use of language models and language technology in products, for example through integration with an API

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security vetting process in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
